This series still has my attention. Boy, what an awful situation this week. The husband finally met "the other guy" when his daughter called him instead of her dad when she got into trouble. What I like is that this marriage was a good one, no problems beyond the normal couple thing. And then the husband disappeared and the wife was left to deal with that and every day issues like bills and helping her daughter cope with the loss of her dad and twin brother. The wife met someone else who seems like a really nice guy and you have a mess. Just felt for that family. And then there was another case of "the calling" and again having to guess what it meant. The sister got it wrong the first time and a police operation fell apart. The person she was supposed to help was a friend of one of the cabin crew on that flight and together they were able to help the person they were supposed to help. I continue to worry about the doctor from the flight because she is continuing to search for answers... B

I usually use IMDB as a guide and what I've found interesting is that only Josh Dallas & Melissa Roxburgh are down as having 29 episodes and other characters are doing 17 episodes. The first season had 16 and the second has 13. The last episode I have seen saw the wife ask her husband to leave because she doesn't want to know about "the calling" despite the fact that she didn't want any secrets between them. So now the dad is not there to help his son when he needs him as the mother will be way out of her depth. Also, having recently heard that some people see peacocks as evil because their feathers represent the devil's eyes, I'm wondering what the dad's vision of a peacock could mean. I'm also assuming that because of what is revealed in the last episode of the 1st season, the mum goes back to the boyfriend she had when her husband and son were missing. Still can't wait to see how this series progresses but I also really hope that there is an endgame even if we don't get to see it. B

Ok, so I have about 5 episodes to catch up on but for some reason my tv channel decided to show the final episode of S1 on the same night! But for the fact that I had a series link and that final episode started to record I would have missed it! I don't read very often but when I do, I get to a certain point in the book and read the last few pages just to see how the story will end. Most times I will have a triumphant yess!! and then an immediate huh? because I haven't got a clue how they arrive at the ending. And because I'm not a speedy reader I start to get frustrated wanting to get to that ending. The above preamble about the books is because I watched the final few minutes of Manifest and had a huh? reaction. Two new male characters, the doctor needing professional help. What happened?? I loved that there would appear to be an end game for the passengers on that flight. Not good for them, but hopefully as a viewer it means that whoever wrote it knows exactly what they want to happen. I'm hoping I get to watch the remaining episodes over the weekend, and possibly in a minority, I have enjoyed this series because it has been about the people more than the sci-fi element. B

Motowncf - thank you soo much for the info from tv guide. I finally managed to complete the series much later than anticipated as I got side tracked by a series from my childhood. Anyway, I can say that this series kept me interested and I looked forward to each episode in much the same way that I used to with Castle. I found the death that has led to the 'death date' as eww, gross! And there wasn't anything gory or bloody about it. I was intrigued by the new characters of Zeke & Griffith who had nothing to do with the plane and yet they also came back! I still love how all the characters were trying to get their lives back, those who were on the plane and those that had been left behind. I'm also wondering how the "major" has all that knowledge about the passengers especially the young son who seems to be someone that she had been looking for. I say again in ending that I hope the creators have an endgame. B

And what an adventure it's been so far. Would love to know if people are still watching and what they've thought so far. All I can say is "whoa" ... and also to question one 828 passenger's decision... :: sigh ::

So happy to hear Manifest will be back for a 3rd season. I've become really invested in the Stone family and the mysteries of Flight 828.

And considering I'm the only one really posting in this thread - lol ... tonight is the night - Manifest season 3 set to air at 8pm EDT - which means I can watch it twice. Need to finish rewatching the final 2 episodes of season 2 before season 3 starts. Also ... although there was a 5 minute teaser clip of the first episode put out over youtube - I've stayed strong and avoiding watching it. I want to be surprised by tonight's episode.
