I haven't had the chance to watch this one yet but here's the summary:

It was another good episode. They did a good job of dealing with the "morning after" awkwardness. Good story, character development, and an ending that certainly seems to indicate they were hoping for more than one season. I'm really hoping for a season 2 now; the show has gotten better every week, and now I really want to see the plan for what comes next. (Don't want to spoil too much for those who haven't seen it yet ) Castle similarities: The episode had shades of "Sucker Punch", and the closing scenes were reminiscent of the season 5 "Probable Cause" episode of the 3XK storyline.

Very good show and did not seem like a series ender. We certainly hope it will be returning. It was, by far, our favorite show of the summer.

Enjoyed the episode. It was definitely a cliff hanger. I hope we hear soon that we will get a season 2. They did get the #1 rating spot for the night finally. Hopefully that will help ABC to give them another season.

I really enjoyed the finale. I thought they played out the new, physical connection between them beautifully. There were some great moments afterwards where they were fighting the attraction, which is always fun to see, and yet they had their heads in it too as they asked - "What are we doing?" In that last scene in Eddie's apartment, I thought that having Sam asleep with her head in his lap was the perfect image to leave us with for now in terms of the relationship. There's no doubt that they're close and care a great deal for each other, but they also realize that they have a lot to work through.
I agreed that the cliffhanger ending was very reminiscent of Castle in a similar situation but that doesn't bother me at all. If they get the chance to tell more of the story, I'm confident that it'll be done in a way that fits these characters. I hope we hear soon that they'll be back!

I'm always way behind on my TV watching, but finally caught the season finale. I thought it was great that they slept together then thought better of it the next morning and then weren't sure how to act but of course everyone figured it out. The fact that all of that happened so naturally makes the way they handled the Castle romance all the more bizarre. Never an actual sexy moment. Hundreds of interrupted kisses. The years that they were kept apart by other love interests and the ridiculous memory lapse on Beckett's part, then she's not ready, then her career comes first, the ridiculous wedding planning, then the wedding that didn't happen. It almost seemed that they were trying to drive the fans away. I think they pretty much succeeded except for the most die-hard fans. Sorry, guess I'm still a little bitter.
There wasn't too much that reminded me of Castle this time except for their theory building but I liked it. This was one of the best episodes I thought. These 2 really care about each other. Sam tries to pull Eddie back when he goes off the deep end but he doesn't want to hear it. She doesn't give up on him and does everything to help him but he still gets in over his head.
I'm hoping it comes back next summer, but the writing isn't that great and it wouldn't surprise me if it didn't.

I know what you mean ibmjas. I kept thinking how nice it was to see two adults have enough respect for themselves and one another to talk about the consequences of pursuing a relationship and admitting to their attraction. I loved Castle, but there have been times I've thought that the actors' chemistry buoyed the writing which seemed determined to unnaturally keep Rick and Kate apart far past the point when either should have decided to take a chance on the romance or walk away. It's nice to see Take Two dealing with the relationship more realistically.
