Enjoyed this episode. I've liked when their cases have involved people they know. And I was quite surprised at the ending! Didn't think we'd get to that point with Sam and Eddie so soon.
And as much as I did enjoy this episode, several Castle episodes came to mind while watching.
Help from a (former) art thief: Season 4 Eye of the Beholder Sam and Eddie dressing up to go undercover at a fancy social event: Season 1 Home Is Where The Heart Stops Showing up to surprise the suspect at an auction: Season 3 Last Call
I really hope the show gets a second chance. I want to see where the relationship goes!

Totally agree, motown! I sure enjoyed the show last night. I think Sam and Eddie were ripe for the jealousy card to become a factor and it was played up beautifully. Once again, the 2 sidekicks were also a big part of the fun. I have to say that the last 15 seconds I really didn't know if they'd go there but was grinning like a fool when they did. Considering how it ended, I thought it was likely the finale, but then we got a preview of next week so there's one more episode. I'm dying to find out if they try to build on the kiss or decide that they better not if they want to continue to work together. Knowing MilMar, I'm betting on them pulling back from the kiss. I'd be OK with that if I knew the show was coming back for a second season because they could continue to play with the attraction for a while longer. However, realizing that this might be all we get, I'd prefer to leave it with the image of them becoming a couple. I guess we'll just have to see what shakes out!

I was finally able to watch the episode tonight. It was written by David Amman who wrote for Castle 15 episodes for Castle. He also wrote the 3rd episode of Take Two. He was an executive producer for Castle until Hollander’s woods. He did not write the art theft episode for Castle. I was reading the synopsis for the final and it says that Sam and Eddie are “ wrestling with the emotional reverberations of sleeping together, “?? We saw a kiss but really? They slept together and we didn’t see any of that? I guess the shark has been jumped.

Wow! Tycho, that's definitely a quantum leap from the kiss in the street. I wonder how they'll fill us in on that little tidbit. I always like David Amman's writing so I'm not surprised that this last episode was so good. Since we're looking at the finale and there doesn't seem to be any indication of whether or not the show will continue, I'm guessing that there'll be a pulling back from the romantic connection. Sam and Eddie both recognize that they can work well together and will likely choose to keep things less complicated by not becoming a couple. That keeps the doors open for fighting off the attraction if the show is given a second season. At least that's my prediction!

Hi everyone! Still no idea when or indeed IF the UK will pick up this show and not too sure if I will check it out if it does. Just wanted to say that the minute I saw the title I thought Robert Wagner! But then when I went to imdb it seems I was thinking Switch because I also saw Eddie Albert as the older guy with him. So, I don't know that I ever saw It Takes A Thief and all I remember of Switch is something like Robert's character saying he knew there was something about the suspect (who was suppose to be a woman) because she didn't give him a 2nd look. The reply was like as if, and then the next woman to cross their path was Natalie Wood and yes, she did give him a 2nd look! At least that's what my memory says and I sure don't trust it B
