Air Date Oct 21, 2013 A grisly murder investigation leads Castle and Beckett to a suspect who claims he's traveled back in time to stop terrible events from unfolding, events that will change the course of human history. Is he simply a deluded killer, or is it possible that he's telling the truth. www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=164f5abc085e This was one of my favorite episodes. It gave me hope for the future of the show and our couple. I asked Andrew at the CastleCon if it was ment to show what he hoped the future to be with Castle. Terri chimed in and said "well, they have heard this now so maybe it will happen?" I think that is why the 30 second ending we got in the series final showed 3 kids. The puzzle picture was the scene where Beckett had to wonder if time travel was true. How could the letter have gotten the exact same spill mark in the future?

Totally agree, Tycho! This was one of my very favorites from that season. The actor who played the time traveler did a fantastic job of creating a weird but believable character, with his fast paced speaking and his absolute certainty about what was going on. Such fun!

I was thankful for the extra 30 seconds of happy ending at the end of the series, but when I saw this episode I thought that three kids were too much for Castle and Beckett. Somehow I always thought they would only have one. Three seems overwhelming!

That's funny because I remember thinking that too, that three kids would be a lot considering their ages and careers but I suppose it was still feasible. And the boys were twins so they could have just been going for #2 and ended up with three!
