The show finished in 1 st place with higher numbers. I hope they are getting some notice and will give them another summer run.
The episodes are getting better and better I feel. This was an intriguing episode with lots of twists and turns. I love to be surprised and not know who did it in the first 10 minutes. It was nice to see Sam realize how she needs to stay with the investigation job and not jump back into acting.
The two kids working in the office doing the computer and other investigations stuff are fun.
Oops I went to IMdB to get the episode title and number and put up next weeks title. Sorry about that.

I agree, Tycho. I'm definitely enjoying the episodes. This one struck me as a particular turning point and I found myself comparing it to what happened in episode 10 of Castle. At the end of that one, Kate tells Montgomery that she doesn't think she could have solved the murder without Castle's help and we really got the sense that the 2 of them had become partners. Similarly, this last episode of Take Two struck me the same way. There was a scene where Sam and Eddie were excitedly building theory, followed by the ending where Sam chooses her work at the agency over an acting role. It all felt right to me and I sure do hope the series will be back.

How have you guys already seen episode 9? It doesn't air here until the 16th. I'm enjoying the show, but I thought by now I would quit having Castle flashbacks. It seems like most episodes have elements taken directly from Castle episodes. I start wondering when I will see a Rear Window type episode, or when they will play strip poker, or when will someone be tortured by dunking them in a tank of water. Sam and Eddie have a great relationship though. Of course they are in denial that there may more to it and I'm sure there will be new and old lovers along the way for each of them, but right now it is sweet to see them growing closer and caring more about each other. I hope they get renewed so we can see a little more of their story.  |

The latest episode was titled "All About Ava" and "Shadows of the Past" doesn't air until later this week. As I've binge-watched the entire season in about two weeks, I can really see how the characters have progressed. I love the friendship between Sam and Eddie. They aren't burning up the screen the way Castle and Beckett did but they are very sweet together. You can tell they really care about one another. When Sam found out she was being shut out of the remake, it was clear that Eddie felt bad for her. I hope we get another season because I'm growing very fond of these two, even if they only remain friends.  |

We have thoroughly enjoyed all of the episodes and do not mind the similarities to Castle. We like the cast and certainly enjoy the stories. The show is just fun in our opinions and we will be very disappointed if it is not renewed.

I hope they get renewed so we can see a little more of their story. I still get a bit of Castle flashback, more in some episodes than others. This one resonated a bit because of the Castle episode about the murder of a star of a "Saved By The Bell' type show. I'm getting less and less of those flashbacks as the show goes on though. I'm really enjoying it, and I hope they get a second season next summer. |
