I really hope it's not a copycat episode, but the synopsis for this week sounds an awful lot like Cuffed.
"Sam and Eddie suspect they were drugged when they wake up with no memory of the previous day."

I really enjoyed last night's episode! I didn't feel it was copy cat at all. The case was a bit convoluted but I don't pay much attention to that anyway. What I loved was the way the characters handled the unknown of what had happened between them. There were some funny, awkward moments as well as some very poignant ones. I was especially touched by Sam's worry about having had a drink. I find myself rooting for her! I also love the 2 sidekicks. Their quirkiness and deadpan reactions are great.
I'd sure love to see the show continue.

I agree nathanfan1 this was the best episode yet. I knew that Jewel would have a major part in the episode and it was fun how they had her be the client and the FBI person. The characters are growing on me for sure.

Did anyone notice the license plate on the FBI car that Eddie took a picture of? I think it was "SRNITY", or something like that. Have to go to On Demand and see if that is what was on the plate.

I forgot to mention Jewel in my previous post. I was not aware that she was in the episode but the second I heard her voice, I recognized her. I think it's fun that MilMar was open to including Jewel and giving a nod to Firefly. I wonder if she - or others - will be guesting on The Rookie. I'd bet on that happening!

I binge-watched the show over the weekend and was reminded what good writers/producers Miller and Marlowe are. Having been away from Castle for a while now, I wasn't distracted by similar conversations/situations between the main characters. They are both so likeable and "peas in a pod" (I couldn't resist, lol). It's really a shame the ratings are so poor because this show deserves a second season. I'll be sad to see it go.

And I was also really rooting for Sam not to have taken a drink. My husband has watched occasionally, and he said this was the first episode that he really liked. And lindy, good catch on that license plate! I totally did not notice that. I saw Jewell's name in the opening credits, and I knew it was her as soon as she walked into their office. My husband (the Firefly fan) did not pick up that it was her until almost the end of the episode. Hoping that it will be picked up again next summer. There really isn't much else to watch in the summertime, so I think this would be a good show to bring back next year.

I wasn't sure if I was going to watch Take Two, not after the way Castle had ended but I've been binge watching it the last few weeks and just caught up. I'm glad I did. That characters are so likable. Sam is sweet and quirky and fun yet still smart. I appreciate her struggle to stay sober and find a purpose in her life. And Eddie always tries to do the right thing and he's very supportive of Sam. I like that these two are friends and that there's been no silly drama pulling them apart, at least not so far. I know the ratings don't look great but I hope the show continues.

I'm hoping to be around a lot more often.
