Hi everyone
I didn't want to start a new topic but didn't know where to slot it in and who knows, the series may just pick up a few. Everything crossed!
Anyway, apparently GMMR (givememyremote) gives out awards? And both Stana and the series has received one. I assume nothing earth shattering but an award from people who enjoy what they watch.
I believe that IF the show was to get an Emmy it would have to be for the International Emmy Awards? For those of you who know about this kind of thing, I would appreciate knowing which awards the series may be eligible for, thanks.

They were not eligible for the Emmys this year. I think it said because it aired in Europe first or it was the wrong time that it was released. Too bad as Stana should have gotten some recognition for this role

Here is a posting from early June from CarterMatt. ____
Well, here is the explanation from CarterMatt. Certainly disappointing bureaucratic process; in fact, ...[cannot say what I am thinking in polite company].

Thanks for the replies Tycho & LarryH. That explanation from CarterMatt seems very convoluted.
I'm just being very selfish wanting to see Stana in a televised awards show actually on a stage being presented with an award and for her to be given an opportunity to say thank you. And of course more importantly it should give her a higher profile and make more people aware of her talent. And if she were to receive more awards from outside the US that would be unfortunate as I believe that most people in the industry would only look at someone who has received the Emmy, Golden Globe awards. Which in turn might mean that Stana receives more offers of interest to her from outside the US.
