Nathan’s short film of Nathan Drake

Nathan does voice work for the Nathan Drake character. I think he would love to play this character in a movie about this character. He said he didn’t think he was a big enough draw to carry the movie. Looks like Nathan and some friends got together and made a short film with this character. Sure sounds like a good fit for Nathan.

I don't think Nathan ever did voice work for the Uncharted video games. At 1st I wasn't overly thrilled with the video. It was a character that Nathan loved and I was glad that he was able to get to play it even in a short but well-made video. Of course I'm glad to see anything he's in!



I learned they worked incredibly hard to imitate the game and according to those that are gamers, they really nailed it. From voice, to actions, to fight sequences, to specific camera angles, and the script, it was apparently much more incredible than I realized. I would certainly be on board to see him in a big budget version. I just feel like most studios don't see him as a big enough draw for a major movie. It seems most roles go to a handful of movie stars some of whom I wish they would drop. Maybe Joss will get him in a big budget film some day.

Tycho, thanks so much for posting that! You're right that it sure feels like it's right up Nathan's alley. There's rollicking adventure and some sassy humor. I know nothing about the Nathan Drake games or movies but I'd sure like to see Nathan get a chance at the character.

I just found this interview about the Nathan Drake film they did. It was from SDCC. 
Nathan tries to do a wooden puzzle during the interview. He is sure looking fit and trim.
