Until Aug 31st the AZ Human society is having their free adoptions going on. I just got a pedicure this morning and the lady said her kids want a dog but she couldn't afford to buy one. I told her about this event that goes on every summer sponsored by Bissell. People can adopt a cat or dog or other various animals we have acquired from hoarders like rabbits, for free. All animals have been spade/neutered, chipped, and have all of their shots. Plus they get a free visit to a participating vet to check things over. They also get a small bag of food to get them started. I have volunteered at this event before covid. We had over 350 adoptions the last event I worked. I hope she is able to get a nice dog for her kids. I told her to check and see if we got any of the 4000 beagles that were recently taken in from the east. I love Beagles.
