Take Two Episode 1.03 "Taken"

I am really enjoying this show.  I like the vibe between Sam and Eddie at this point; I'm enjoying them just getting to be friends, without the romantic overtones.  I thought the ending scene at Sam's commercial shoot captured that well.   I'd like to think it won't eventually go down the "will they, won't they" route, but that's probably too much to hope for.

I really am trying not to, but still can't help thinking of Castle comparisons.  Sort of similar storyline to season 1' s "Little Girl Lost", where a kidnapping actually turns out to be something else, and Sam being the one who makes the money drop.

It's fun, light summer entertainment.  If ABC decides to keep it as a summer show I think it could last a few seasons.  I don't think it would be strong enough to compete as a fall show.

I agree with everything you said, motown. I continue to enjoy the building friendship and commitment to each other as partners. I especially enjoyed the 2 sidekicks this episode. The quirkiness of their characters is fun. I also like that Zeus is seemingly going to be a recurring character. I thoroughly enjoy him.

Not much out there to watch this summer. It is always fun to see how they spin the murders.

I have to admit that the show is growing on me, mostly because of the light hearted chemistry between the two leads. They come across as two very different people destined to be good friends and that's fun to see unfold.

For now, I'm just willing to take it episode by episode and see where it goes.

I agree, I am enjoying it, and I think it is a fun series, I however do not see the the chemistry that Stana and Nathan had from the initial episode, but it is a fun to watch
