We’re still hoping for clarification on that...."

Yes. The company that produced Absentia has confirmed that it will be producing another 10 episodes for season 2. As of yet, Amazon has not made any comment on whether or not they will be showing season 2.

Hi everyone
I can't imagine that if Absentia S1 was a success for Amazon why they wouldn't show the 2nd season. Either way, great news. Now just need to hear that the series and Stana have been nominated for some kind of award...
In a recent tweet there was a picture of Stana at the airport apparently reading a script. I find myself wondering if it was for Absentia 2?

Carter Matt article from 19JUN18: 'Absentia' renewed for season 2, will run for ten more episodes. cartermatt.com/312750/absentia-renewed-season-2-ten-episodes/Two extracts: - "...but there no 100% confirmation just yet on things from the Amazon end...". - "...The show was not eligible for a Primetime Emmy Award this year because of rules regarding international productions, but is in contention for the International Emmys a little bit later this year...".
