Maybe this will lure nathanfan1 back to the board. I'm not sure which con this is...but Nathan Fillion is obviously there, sporting glasses and a beard (and not the disguise kind). I'll admit to having a serious weakness for men in glasses (ask my husband). However, I'm not a fan of beards and mustaches but I must say, Nathan makes it work.    Enjoy! |

Ha-ha!!!!!! Did I hear my name mentioned?  ? I've actually been traveling and then trying to catch up after being gone so real life has forced my board time to take a back seat. I hate it when that happens!!!!!! In regards to the yummy picture, it's from the Dallas Comic Con going on this weekend. One of my friends is attending and will have her picture taken with Nathan today. Lucky girl!!!!! I've seen other pictures of him in his glasses and have to say that they sure don't diminish his looks in any way, at least IMO. He looks awesome in his glasses. The beard and mustache are a different story for me. I definitely prefer him clean shaven but I sure wouldn't kick him out of bed for not shaving! Oh wait - that was supposed to be for eating crackers ....... Ummm, yeah, I better not continue with that trend of thought! Thanks for the new thread, Christine, and I'll see what I can come up with to add to it! |

I think if you had a choice the autograph would be the way to go at these cons. From what I have seen written people say you get like 3.2 seconds to take your picture with Nathan. As you can see here it looks like he talks to each person while he signs the autograph. Someone tweeted that he even shook everyone's hand. I know I have a selfie with Nathan, but you can ask the girls, it was not my idea. I was happy just to chat and shake his hand.
I have to say I kind of like the ruggedly handsome facial hair myself. I think the glasses are a nice thing for him to relax and not have to put in the contacts.
There are a flood of pictures and comments from the panel that Nathan did with Alan today. One comment was that Nathan was thrilled for season 8 of Castle. It is nice to see him finally acknowledging Castle now and not just Firefly. They of course are promoting their new web series "Con Man" that will start filming on Monday. PJ Haarsma was at our Phoenix Comic Con today doing some background filming of people at a con I think? I know he was filming something.

The glasses do it for me every time! Not crazy about the mustache on Nathan, but the scruffy look on the rest of the face, YUM!!!!!!

Goodness, that tiny patch of hair under his lower lip really bothers me. I so want to take a razor and make it disappear.
And ironically, I could go into my husband's closet and find that exact outfit. The sneakers may even be the same.
