Saudi student Hasim Farouk, at Columbia like Alexis, is killed by a van crashing into him while he fired at it. The team soon works out the van was used to kidnap not only Egyptian tycoon Anwar El-Masri's daughter Sara, but also Alexis, whom she met at a lecture. FBI agent Harris's sole trace, obtained only because Becket 'turned away' from Castle slightly torturing the wounded van driver, runs dead. Meanwhile the girls attempt an escape, but discover the container they were held in now stands in Paris.

We see Castle call on some of his Derrick Storm contacts to help to get his daughter back when he sees the FBI will not be able to help. Little did he know he would get help from and unknown person who has been watching over his family for years.

How do you rank this two parter? I think they missed so much by always having Castle and Becket going off on their own when they faced challenges. They would be so much better together yet we never saw this.

I ADORE this 2 parter! My favorite from the entire series! I loved the raw emotion we saw from Nathan, both in regards to Alexis and his newly discovered father. The scenes touched me in so many ways.

I, also, enjoyed this 2 parter. It wasn't my favorite but was good. I very much enjoyed Rick and Kate's interaction throughout. I agree, Teresa, that the best scenes were always when Rick and Kate were together. That's what made the last 2 seasons so very disappointing for me. The whole show was THEM. They just crackled when they were together those first 6 seasons. That end scene, when Rick and Alexis returned was always 1 of my favorites. The end scenes on Castle were always magical and I couldn't wait for next Monday!!!!!!!!!! God, I miss that.
