Did anyone watch the 2nd episode?? We enjoyed it and will continue to watch the show. We watched the second episode last night, and I liked it more than the first. Personally, I just don't feel much chemistry between these characters, but I'm willing to give it a few more episodes to see if that changes. The magic tricks just aren't my thing, and I always seem to notice the split screen in scenes with the twins which is distracting. But my daughter loves this show so far, and it's a light-hearted crime procedural, so I'm sure we'll watch more.

I watched the second show and felt like it completed the setup for the rest of this first season. Now, I think we'll see more chemistry between the leads and more character development since we understand how they all came together. I will definitely continue to watch.

Maybe it's a he/she thing but I felt the leads have chemistry. They interact far better than a lot of the couples that I see on TV. In most shows, you never lose sight of the fact that the actors are just performing their job. You don't really get into it but I like this show because the characters are interesting and play well together. Like you PTVJ, I am not a huge magic fan but I like this show. It holds our interest and the hour passes quickly. JMO

I'm continuing to watch Deception. I often go to a service my cable provider provides in order to rewatch the most current episode in case I feel like I've missed something watching it the first time. And I am enjoying the show. I happen to like magic so that might be a draw.
I'm finding it amusing how the one member on Kay's squad keeps getting disappointed whenever Cameron "ruins/explains" a magic trick.

I finally saw the final Deception episode. I enjoyed this show. I think they had a lot more stories to tell. I didn't see much of a spark between the leads, but I was willing to see where it went. I admit I liked the girl more than the guy, but I don't know any of their names! Anyway, sorry this didn't get renewed.

I hated the finale. The bad guys won and I'm not that kind of person. The decent brother wound up in prison. The FBI woman had her world crushed. The other brother went off with the psychopath to search for the missing fortune. NOT a decent ending IMO. It seems to be the trend this year. Bull had a heart attack and was not in a good place when the season ended. Lethal Weapon ended the way it did and has to try and survive in a totally different direction. The finale of Scorpion was horrible. IMO, it's like the world is becoming a darker place and people do not want a happy ending or future. It just makes this viewer a little sad. That's why I loved Castle so much those first 6 seasons. It was the promise of a happy future for people we had come to care about in our TV viewing. Okay, I'm done. This was all just the way I feel and I am entitled to that

I kind of disagree about Deception. I think both brothers are good. I think Jonathon is playing along with the lady villain to get the fortune (but not for himself) and clear his name. We'll never know where it was leading but I'd like to see the FBI lady in another show.

I guess I have to agree with IBM. I watched every episode and if there's one thing I learned, it was that things were never as they seemed. On the surface, the Cam / Jonathan switch in the jail seemed to be a betrayal but I bet it was intended to set up an intriguing second season with Jonathan now trying to get Cam free. Though we'll never know, I did enjoy the ride.
