Air date Oct 8 2012 Wendy Dupree, murdered in a cheap motel, wrote a clue in her blood. When Castle realizes it's no word but a number, it leads, in combination with her phone records, to a storage compartment, about to be auctioned, rented by her brother Wendell, an ex-con, who died in a suspicious accident a few months earlier. He was employed as driver by socialite Anjelica Henley, who recently reported a super-valuable diamond, stolen in a robbery, focus of further criminal intrigues. The earlier past provides the crucial clues, while Castle and his mother worry about Alexis's impending moving out to a dorm, albeit in New York. I remember the Captain collected these creepy dolls. Castle got into her good graces until he smashed the wrong doll looking for a clue. This is also the episode that John Terlesky gave us the handshake that we will forever remember as "The best handshake ever". He made that handshake more hot than any kiss would have been. www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=0b259b151ebe

Great puzzle choice, Tycho, and you're right. That handshake was so sensuous and HOT!
I also loved seeing another side of Gates as she revealed her passion for collecting the dolls. It was a very entertaining episode!

The "handshake" was definitely one of my top 5 moments on the show. It caught us all by surprise and they had the devoted fans in heaven. A couple other favorites of mine were the look they gave each other when Rick pulled all the wires on the bomb and the hug after. How about Kate's little moan during the kiss they shared trying to save the boys. There were a LOT of sigh worthy moments on the beautiful show that it was at that time
