Looks like they will start with Nolan and Talia already sleeping together. Sounds like this will be more action than investigating. I think Nathan realized that he didn't want to be in every scene as it burns you out from over work fast. We should see more scenes with the other cast members so everyone gets more time off. season-zero.com/the-rookie-abc-pilot-preview-richard-castle-dead-john-nolan/

Hi everyone
Tycho - thanks for the update. I have to wonder if this information is a given or whether it is something assumed from various bits of information?

B I’ve never heard of this source before. It looks and sounds like she must have some knowledge about the process but who knows?

I've never heard of this site either. All I can say is that the official ABC media site doesn't have any information on The Rookie as of yet. The only official press releases I've seen have been published Deadline.com first. Perhaps this person has some sort of personal behind the scenes access, but there's no way to confirm it.

Sorry I wasn't sure where to ask this question. So as someone who doesn't have a twitter account I often feel as though I'm missing the questions because there are answers, or there are questions which appear to have answers but I have no idea what they may be. Anyhow, I went onto Nathan's account and there was nothing on The Rookie? No excitement that there is an outline for the series, that he has the scripts for the first few episodes, that he can't wait to work with the actors that have so far been cast or looking forward to working at ABC with Hawley. Not even a joke that his vacation time is almost over. Is that because it's too early to expect those kind of comments? And if they are shooting in March does that mean it will broadcast in the fall or could it possibly be a mid season replacement? B

1Lincoln40, my best guess is that they are still putting the finishing touches on the pilot and still inking contracts, so he may not be at liberty to say very much just yet. I'd expect to see a lot more out of Nathan once filming begins.

Nathan doesn't typically tweet much about his assignments. He'll probably tweet about it closer to its airing. I'm hoping he'll be on the talk show circuit when The Rookie is close to coming out. I'm pretty sure this will air in the fall. Someone on twitter said there would be 18 episodes. They didn't link to an official source so don't know if that is true.

Yes, I'm assuming we'll also get a lot more out of ABC in May when they start selling the advertising for the new fall shows.

PTVJ, IBMJAS - thanks, I hope so. His first series since Castle where he is not just a guest.
