  What a great, interesting interview!!!!  I can see that it would be really hard to play Nick as he was written, Patrick did an excellent job... because I didn't really like Nick that much towards the end  .

Great interview! It sounds like you had lots of time to chat. I think he enjoyed getting an interview with someone who had done their research into his roles. That was funny that his episodes of Castle and Bones aired in the same week. I need to go back and watch that episode again. It's strange that he never got to meet Stana. I think they were starting to try and give the leads more time off and use the other actors to fill in those days. 
I was hoping that if they get a season 2 that they would film it closer to Boston. Sounds like they would use Bulgaria again. This would be a hard series to keep going as there are only so many twists you can do with this story. 
I hope they have had good viewership for the Amazon Prime show. I don't know how they track viewers as some people binge and other watch one episode at a time for a week or more.

Hi everyone!

Christine - my kinda interview, thank you!  You knew enough about your subject but not so much that I would be left wondering why bother asking questions to which you already have the answers? And the answers I found most interesting was his meeting with Sir Ian McKellan and what he may have learnt from that actor and also what Patrick may now study because of his role in Absentia. Given what he did for his role as Nick and given what we know about Stana, I wonder what research she may have done for her role as Emily.

Congratulations on being able to interview him as none of the cast apart from Stana appear to be asked but boy, would I love to read such a lengthy interview with her.

Patrick seemed so grateful that I knew something about his previous work that I felt bad that no one else had asked him. It's the type of basic research I do for every interview.

The plays he had been in "Next Fall" and "Bent" sounded fascinating and he got to work opposite Tom Cruise in the latest Jack Reacher film. It was fun getting to speak to him about all of that.
