Two more actors have been added to The Rookie roster... deadline.com/2018/02/the-rookie-eric-winter-afton-williamson-co-star-abc-series-nathan-fillion-1202280487/I know Eric Winter from way back when on Days of Our Lives, and then as a recurring character on The Mentalist. I don't know much about Afton Williamson. It looks like she's had guest and recurring roles in several series. I like the sound of her character here. Also of interest, Michelle Chapman, who I believe is Nathan Fillion's assistant, is listed as an executive producer on The Rookie. |

Eric Winter was just on TheGood Doctor as the sleezy doc who was making unwanted advances on the intern. He was also in a romcom with Gerard Butler and Katherine Higel in The Ugly Truthas the guy she wanted. He is very handsome but usually plays a guy I really don’t like. He is listed as 6’2 so Nathan and Eric will be looking each other in the eye.

I guess Winter has a penchant for playing bad guys, because on The Mentalist he played Craig, Agent Grace Van Pelt's fiance who turned out to be one of serial killer Red John's minions.

Eric Winter was a doctor in Rosewood and he was extremely easy on the eye and likeable.

Afton Williamson was a guest star on this week's episode of Bull. (She played ADA Gabrielle Ramsden.) I really enjoyed her performance, so it has me looking forward to seeing her in The Rookie. |
