I really enjoyed the article. My worst episode outside of Hong Kong Hustle is Kill Switch. I wasn't a big fan of Kill Switch either but Hong Kong Hustle felt like more of a let down. I so agree. Kate has always been in my eyes a strong and empowering women. For them to have her insecure all of a sudden was sickening to watch. |

I liked "Hong Kong Hussle". It was not a favorite but It was nice to see the very confident Kate Beckett have some doubts about her life and career choices. They were setting her up for some career changes that will have to happen if she wants to grow. Even the most confident people will look at others and see someone even more confident. I liked that they showed us that her perfect life was, in reality, not that perfect. Who is?
My least favorite was "Sleeper". I really expected a better explanation about the missing 2 months.

I don't mind Kate feeling insecure from time to time but this felt forced to me. As though it was only written to push her towards the senate storyline. That's just my opinion and could be colored by the fact that I despise the idea of Kate going into politics. Plus I found the Inspector from Hong Kong dull and I didn't enjoy the murder of the week, so this episode landed near the bottom of my list.  |
