If you haven't watched the episodes that aired on December 19th, please do not read this interview as it has some major spoilers. This show ranks right up there with Castle for me. I love it even more than The Closer from which it was spun off. The ensemble cast and story telling have been superb. This is the final season, and although this final arc is heartbreaking in many ways, it has also been some of the best TV I've seen in a long time. Here's an interview with lead actress Mary McDonnell on the story arc for the final season. I'm sorry to see it end but so grateful for the ride. variety.com/2017/tv/news/major-crimes-mary-mcdonnell-sharon-raydor-final-season-tnt-1202641366/

We never watched "The Closer" but we did watch Major Crimes from the start. I was surprised with what they did with her character in the end. I always liked her character and never realized what her role had been before. We thought the last episode we watched was the series final and then they said there was 2 more episodes. Procedural s are a dying breed for sure. For those of us who enjoy a good story we will have to go back to books I guess. Very nice interview.

Big fan of Major Crimes. Yet again, another terrific series that ended with a fulfilling bang. After watching Bones and now Major Crimes wrap things up, it truly breaks my heart to think what might have been for our beloved Castle. <sigh> What might have been.... what might have been. <sigh>
