I know Hannuka is in full swing - happy wishes to those of you who celebrate!!
I'm enjoying all the festivities of every kind at this time of year!
Just wanted to start a thread for anyone to share whatever it is that brings joy to you and yours this time of year!
This is one of my all-time favorite Christmas albums. My mom was a Carpenter's fan, so these songs were staples in our home this time of year.
"Merry Christmas, Darling", and "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve" are my two favorites. I listen to them on loop at times, not gonna lie. lol...

Great minds, Kat. We also have a Carpenters XMas album. I love listening to the music of Christmas. Buble and Groben are a couple of our favorite artists. Tran-Siberian Orchestra is another favorite. |

I stink at anything techie, so I am explaining here, the above three photos. I collect vintage ornaments, Santas, Reindeer, tea cups/saucers, and Christmas linens. These are a few of my Santas and flocked reindeer in a vintage Coke tray. Our full-size Christmas tree this year is the retro, 1950's silver, complete with color wheel. I usually do two trees, with the live green pine in the family room, and the silver in the living room. This year was extremely busy, I decided on the "less mess/less stress" concept, and only went with the silver. The four bulbs in the third photo are some recent finds while vintage shopping with my mom. THe three embroidered ornaments are Hungarian embroidery on felt. Completely hand-made. The tree and stocking were gifts, the bell was completed by me. My hobbies include many forms of needlework and crochet.  |

One of my wishes came true this year, and it's fitting to post it here. I got to hug java in real life, with him standing upright, and knowing he will now remember me/seeing me in person. I hope he doesn't mind, but I am sharing this.  |

My daughter's 2nd grade holiday party was yesterday. We made snowman cupcakes. I'm going to miss it when her classes are too old to have parties.  |
