If you love art, or Vincent Van Gogh, or the pure genius of creativity in depicting a mystery in an "artful" way, I heartily endorse the movie "Loving Vincent." It's too hard for me to explain, so here's a link -- Loving Vincent. I would actually like to see a documentary that shows how they created this. I would love to see this movie again to "drink" it all in because there is a lot to absorb....and for those of you who love Poldark, Elinor Tomlinson (Demelza) and Aidan Turner (Ross) are part of this movie. |

That is fascinating. I can't believe they did it all in the style of oil painting. In my daughter's preschool, they did an art project where all of the kids used tiny pieces of paper to recreate Van Gogh's The Starry Night. I was so surprised how well it turned out and loved that they were exposing four year olds to such classics. I'll see if this movie is playing in my area anywhere. If not, I'm sure I can get it online some time soon. Thanks for the recommendation!  |
