Tonight (Monday) NBC has "A Very Pentatonix Christmas" while ABC airs it's annual "CMA Country Christmas" special. And tomorrow (Tuesday), CBS will have the animated classic, "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer."

I watched both specials last night. I thought CMA Country Christmas was outstanding! The artists were all dressed up. sang the traditional holiday songs and were backed by a wonderful orchestra instead of their own bands. There were some terrific performances!
I really wasn't impressed with the Pentatonix special. They wasted a LOT of time just talking and had some silly video pieces. I'd have much rather watched them perform more music.
Wednesday night is the Rockefeller Center special and I'm looking forward to that.

Tonight on ABC is the return of holiday edition of "The Great American Baking Show." My daughter waits for this one all year. Also on ABC are the holiday specials "Shrek the Halls" and "Toy Story That Time Forgot."

Tonight on CBS we have Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (my 8-year-old actually hates this special because everyone is so mean to Rudolph and Santa comes off like a bully), Frosty the Snowman and Frosty Returns. On ABC is showing Mary Poppins. And over on the USA network they have It's a Wonderful Life. Enjoy!
