You beat me by 15 minutes with the news tycho657! Of course I'll watch it, but I can't say I'm thrilled that Alexi Hawley is at the helm as showrunner. I'm still not happy about the direction he took our beloved series during its final season.

I agree with you, PTVJ....not thrilled to hear Hawley is running things. ABC must have a lot of confidence in this and must really like Nathan, since it's been ordered direct to series. The TVGuide.com article mentions Nathan stretching his comedic muscles. I never was a fan of the more doofus side of Castle; wonder how that will work with this show.

I agree not happy with Alex Hawley but I am looking forward to Nathan's return to TV now if we can see Absentia on TV that would be terrific

I will watch the premier and see how it goes. The one good thing hopefully is since it will be filmed in LA maybe crew members from Castle might have a job again?

Seems like it might be fun and it's good to see Nathan back on TV. I agree that the only down point is that Alexi Hawley is running the show. He shouldn't be directing anything for some time after what he did to our beloved show. I wonder if he'll be able to drive this one well...

It's probably likely unless Luke is tied up in another show.

I remember a comment by Luke at the Castle con panel when someone asked him about how Nathan was dressed and he said something like "talk to Andrew". It made me wonder if it was really Luke's choice to dress him in so many layers? The last year of the show, I really don't remember much as I only watched one time but, didn't Castle dress differently the last season?
