I'm always looking for shows to watch. I just finished The Killing on Netflix. I enjoyed it. The people were very real. No one is all good or all bad. It was impossible to figure out who the killer was. Did anyone else see it? Anyone have other recommendations?

We started watching the Murdoch Mysteries which is on Hulu & Netflix. They are on season 10 I think. We are just into season 2. Set in the late 1800's. Interesting mystery of a death solved by the detective and his soon to be girlfriend, the coroner.

I only made it through about 3 episodes. It's not on Netflix any more. I like shows with a mystery. There are several that I have started but haven't made it past 2 or 3 episodes. Guess I'm too picky.

Hi everyone Ibmjas, curious as to which version you have seen - Mireille Enos 2011 or the original 2007-2012 with Sofie Grabol? I LOVED the original and I guess I shouldn't. We were lucky in the UK in that we had 2 episodes on a Saturday and usually for me, a week to wait was way too long (just as in the good ol' days of Castle). I say shouldn't simply because it was so slow and nothing much seemed to happen. I believe that one episode was supposed to represent one day on the case. However the actors just held me, wanting to know what would happen next. As you say, they felt like 'real' people. I know that Sarah Lund's jerseys were as much of a talking point as to who might have killed the daughter. as for the final series that was a jaw dropping moment.... Love me some Murdoch Mysteries. One of those, 'park you brain at the door' shows. And yes indeed, I am waiting for the return because despite 10 seasons, I am still impatient for the start of the new season especially given the cliff hanger at the end of the last one. Also with Julia and Murdoch you have the 'are they ever going to get together?' situation. And also I think some interesting social issues are part of the episodes as well as some of the inventions. B.

I saw the Mireille Enos 2011 version. After season 2 they started on a new case. I'm watching it now but not really into it.
