Is anyone else watching Bull? I'm reviewing it for TV Fanatic again this season. The series has a new showrunner this season, Glenn Gordon Caron, who created Moonlighting and Medium, two of my favorites. In my opinion, the change was felt from the start of this episode. The case of the week was great, but it was the character's that really popped in a way that they hadn't all of season 1. I'm curious if anyone else felt that way too. Here's my review: www.tvfanatic.com/2017/09/bull-season-2-episode-1-review-school-for-scandal/

We really enjoy Bull. Yes, we noticed a difference in the show and for the most part liked it. We were not quite so sure we liked the subtle changes in the Bull character. We were quite happy with him last season but think we will adjust to this version. LOL, I should of read the review first, Christine. You made some good, valid points. BTW, B and 4 stars.
Different topic- LOVED the season premiere of Lethal Weapon last night. It's fast becoming my favorite show.

Yes, I really fell in love with Lethal Weapon last season too. I'm looking forward to seeing the new episode and will try and comment about it on the Lethal Weapon thread (We have one of those, don't we?) as soon as I do.

I have to say I love the new direction the new show runner is taking with the characters. Bull is more relaxed with who he is this year. I thought the character tried to hard to make people think he was this amazing guy. This season I feel like he is more grounded. The guy who was the lawyer for the trial is SO much better this season. Last year he was this insecure guy who had to have Bull lead him through every trial. I could feel his confidence flow this year. The realization that they had money flow issues may have been a reality check for Bull. Time will tell. it was cool that Bull got the scholarship so his guy could go to law school and stay in NY. That city must be so exspensive to live in. I can't imagine.

I LOVE NYC! There's so much to see and do. I'd love to live in Manhattan some day, but I think I'd have to win the Powerball to do it comfortably. A studio apartment in a good neighborhood easily goes for $3,000 and up. Of course, I live in NJ and things aren't exactly cheap here either. Someone my husband works with just moved up from South Carolina where he rented a 4 bedroom house for $650 a month. I don't think I could find a one bedroom apartment in my area for that price, at least not in a neighborhood where I'd want to live. Rents for a 2-3 bedroom apartment or townhouse are generally $2,000 to $3,000 a month here. I'm afraid the poor man was in shock!

We live in Green Bay, Wi in a newer complex on a large pond with adjacent woods. Our 1200 sq. ft. , 2BR /2Ba with W/D, and 2 car garage is under $1000 a month. We also have free heat and are in a nice area. I think we will stay here even with the snow and cold

The second episode I continued to feel the presence of the new showrunner. Interesting look at this subject.
