Ok so I finally watched the 1st episode. Sorry still missed who did the tats on Jane. LOVED that Kurt and Jane left that church like a boss! Sorry but Roman is starting to really irritate me. (Had the same reaction to Loki in the most recent Thor movie). Really liked that Kurt and Jane are talking to each other so that they are on the same page. LOVED the way the episode ended when it was revealed that everyone had a secret. Don't like how it could affect everyone's relationship with each other though. More enthusiastic about this season than I have been about the previous two. We shall see...

B. Okay, the new tattoos on Jane's body was done by Roman. The answer's in this clip. Jane had an accident (in which she faded in and out of consciousness) I assume it was during this time that that the new tattoos were added. |

Okay ... so with a week hiatus between Episodes 4 and 5 ... it will give me time to just digest what I've just seen at the end of this episode. I am stymied. Definitely Stymied. But ... I had a Castle moment in the episode...and it's a flashback to Alexis's graduation speech One char calls another char ... "Their North Star" ... and I got warm fuzzy feelings ETA: So, watching the episode a second time I caught one of the guest stars in the episode and I totally didn't clue in the first time. Paul Guilfoyle was in tonight's episode. To anyone who watched CSI, you'd recognize the actor who played Jim Brass. Second time around after catching the guest stars credits I was watching for him. And even second time around the "North Star" bit still caused warm fuzzy feelings. |

So I watched the 2nd episode and I don't see how Roman can be saved. His killing of an innocent, for me, has made him Shepherd's son. Still wondering what Kurt did that he doesn't want Jane to know. It will not end well especially as she has told him about the money. Loved the awkward between Zapata and Reade when she went around to his apartment. Seriously Patterson?! Can they cut that woman some slack. Yet another guy killed...
I have the 3rd episode recorded but yet to watch, so thanks for the heads up tefla.

Ok, so this could be my last post on this series as I can feel my negative opinions rising and in my book that is unfair to everyone here who can't wait to see the next episode.
So, in my book Roman still needs to be put out of his misery. Even if Blake is his love interest, I think it will end badly for her even if Roman develops genuine feelings for her. For me he is nurture over nature. When he lost his memory, he cared about his sister, wanted to prove that the others could trust him because she trusted him and wanted to do the right thing. Once he got his memory back, he wanted to punish his sister. So pleased that Reade is back with the team. I was worried that he was being duped and couldn't see it or perhaps worse was on a 'need to know' mission which meant that the team would react to what they saw. I LOVE the friendship that exists between Zapata and Patterson and I hope that it's genuine and continues. I don't know if I should watch other shows but it is so nice to see two women enjoying each other. Not in competition, not being witchy, not fighting over some guy. That existed in Rizzoli & Isles and long before that Cagney & Lacey. Can Weller PLEASE be written with some common sense where Jane is concerned. Now that the Berlin incident has been revealed, Kurt doesn't find it weird a young woman immediately recognised a photo of Jane and knew several names for her? He immediately believes that stranger and yet when Patterson, someone that he should trust with his life gives him some information to follow up on, he doesn't? I could understand if he didn't tell Jane until he found something out but to just not tell Jane, it will end badly.
And what angers me the most is THAT wedding! If this show could not only find 2 minutes at the beginning of an episode to show the ceremony and the celebration afterwards but then have an episode revolve around the wedding video and not lose sight of what the show is all about, how is it that Castle could not??

B I think he thought of he told her he killed her she would stop looking for her. She is probably still around somewhere. |

I feel the writers have pulled a CSI moment on me. (blech)
Won't say more than that but at the end of the last episode I was not pleased at all. Will still watch though.

Tefla - any chance of knowing what the CSI moment refers to please? I use to love CSI until Grissom left and thankfully I never saw the Grissom/Sara relationship.

Can anyone tell me what to expect in the 1st episode back please? Like how does Jane react to Kurt telling her that he had killed her daughter? And what was Patterson up to? UK started this week but I have yet to see the episode.

Saw the aftermath of Kurt telling Jane about her daughter and just wanted to give him a hug. Still don't like that Kurt didn't question the whole situation in Germany given what he knew about Roman.

Tefla - thanks for that! I saw the conclusion of the German bit but I would still like Kurt to follow through on what Patterson found out. I also wonder how long it will take for Jane to forgive him? But see, it makes sense for them to be separated rather than that pathetic excuse that Castle fans were given.

Saw Episode 10 - Balance of Might, the one about refugees being used. So, are we to assume that Jane has just cheated on Kurt? (I had a CSI moment when Clem closed the door after Jane entered. I was reminded of the time Grissom asked Lady H to stay with him and no way will anyone make me believe that they spent the night just talking...  ) I liked that they had Kurt ask Patterson to check out Avery, something I thought that he should have done, and then Patterson said no! Poor Zapata...
Also, I read an interesting recap (can't remember where) of Technology Wizards and the reviewer believes that the series is now in a mess with regards to the Jane/Kurt relationship that is worthy? of a soap.
I also only use imdb as a 'guide' but does anyone know if Sullivan Stapleton was doing something else whilst Blindspot was being filmed? I ask because according to imdb he goes from the first on the cast list to last and for the remaining episodes. Sullivan Stapleton was in a series called "Strike Back" before he was in Blindspot. It looks like they have rebooted that series. The other lead was in a series that didn't make it past the first season. They have started Strike Back up again and it looks like they started airing them in Feb. Maybe he wants to go back to that series so they are cutting down his role in Blindspot? I watched the first 2 seasons of Strike Back. I did enjoy the series and may try to watch the reboot and see what it looks like now. |
