Question: Would love something about Roman’s involvement in Season 3 of Blindspot, please? —SusanAusiello: Series creator Martin Gero is neither confirming nor denying that Roman had something to do with Jane’s tattoos lighting up in the Season 2 finale. Just kidding — he’s confirming it! “It would be fair to guess that Roman is behind it,” says the EP, before adding, “but it’s not about Sandstorm. It’s not about taking over the American government. It’s a whole new thing now.” Gero goes on to remind us that Roman’s portrayer, Luke Mitchell, “is a series regular this year. He’s in every episode. He’s our main bad guy, and first and foremost, he’s really hurt. Jane is the closest person to him in the world, and she chose Weller and the FBI over him. He’s been hurting about that. This isn’t the only reason for the tattoos, but there’s certainly a punitive part of the tattoos where he’s trying to imprison Jane by them in many ways.” tvline.com/2017/09/22/greys-anatomy-episode-300-spoilers-it-clown-season-14/

Hi everyone!
I just saw this and it seems we get a glimpse of those missing years. I wonder if that will be it. Also the glimpses seem to suggest that Jane and Kurt are in a better place relationship wise.
I am also wondering how much Roman has remembered especially if he is the one who sent the box.

As I posted in the other thread, I'm hoping someone will go into more detail as to what happened in the first episode for season 3 - please? Like will I discover why Jane felt it necessary to leave Kurt and go to that retreat? Whose baby is that? Has Roman recovered all his memories? The UK doesn't start until November 9th but as some kind souls have already posted some scenes on the tube, I am beyond words angry because...
...How is it that a series which isn't structured to be a 'will they or won't they?' situation as its focus, they have somehow managed to find a few minutes at the beginning of a season no less and in only 2 seasons to have a wedding when Castle couldn't manage it in 6? . I would have liked Jane to have had sleeves in her wedding dress to cover those tats and Kurt could have made more of an effort with what he was wearing but, the most important factor was that they were getting married in the presence of the people that they trusted with their lives, their friends. To then see those people celebrating the event with laughter and dancing.... For Jane & Kurt to then be waved off on their journey to their new home... Beyond words....

Looks like we do have a spoiler thread for season . This looks to be a nice reboot with some interesting changes in relationships. The computer geeks have an interesting dynamic. I sure hope we don't see another death with a relationship. She has had to many people leave her. I wonder what Roman is up to this year? I loved the St Marks square location. We visited that a couple of years ago. It was nice to see three scaffolding down around the bell tower. Fun location to shoot. I hope they keep the world locations and not keep out in NYC. They did get 10 mil for Jane's death so they have money to work with now.

Tycho from what you said do I take it that we have a new member on the team? And I totally agree that they need to cut Patterson some slack. Not have her boyfriend murdered or betray her in the worse way possible. But just one of those awkward beginnings that slowly works through to an understanding between them where they are on the same page at the same time.

For the answer on who the baby is: Allie's daughter. (and rolls eyes, Kurt's too) That moment of bad decision in either season 1 or 2 in which Kurt spent a night with his old flame and as a result Allie got pregnant. Fast forward to season 2 and she takes a transfer to Colorado. Kurt was willing to do the whole fathering thing I guess had Allie stayed in New York.
So I guess getting away from the FBI was a good thing both for Kurt and Jane and because they went to Colorado both of them were able to spend time with, I think the name was, Bethany .. and watch her when Allie had to work nights.
That is what I got from the dialogue before the moment of Jeller was interrupted.

B. You will definitely learn why Jane left Kurt.... it becomes rather apparent in the first 5-10 minutes of the episode

B. Welcome. I hope the episode was a good one as I now believe that 10pm has passed UK time. I'm having to wait until tomorrow to catch episode #2. I use my parents DVR to record the show. I will be able to catch ep 3 live this coming Friday as I'll be off work in time to watch west coast feed. Until that time I stay off the internets in regards to Blindspot ... but man ... I caught a bit of episode 2 on CTV Go app and I love the new intro...

Hi Tefla - Didn't get the chance to watch yet as I ran out of time doing something else. But good to hear that there is a new intro. Once I get to check out the episode, will offer an opinion but only if I liked it. I stopped posting last season because I had nothing positive to say and as far as I was concerned that wasn't fair on everyone else here that was enjoying the season so...

Well, sort of new intro on episode 2. Basically it starts out the same but incorporates the fact that Jane's got new tattoos (in color) and instead of Kurt's face only at the end it's now Kurt and Jane ... I just like how the colors make it "pop"

Ok, so I've only managed to watch the reunion between Kurt and Jane and found myself getting angry all over again. If Kurt and Jane had gone to City Hall to get married and then told everyone, that to me would have been in keeping with the structure of the series (as I see it). But no, somehow they managed to get married in front of everyone they cared about and who cared about them. They were even seen to celebrate the event with speeches, laughter and dancing. Now if a series like Blindspot can give fans a wedding, how is it that Castle couldn't manage it?? That beautiful setting, the set itself wasted. Didn't Stana say that she had tried on 12 dresses in 3 days? Luke even gave her something personal for Kate to wear. And Castle couldn't find a few minutes at the end of that episode to give fans what would surely have been the most watched and talked about scene is the history of Castle... Swiftly moving on....
So, right now there are two plotlines - the bounty on Jane (and her leaving Kurt made perfect sense unlike Kate leaving Rick - sorry..) and trying to find Roman. I am wondering whether at some point the two plots will merge? I wonder if RichDotcom will be the one to negate the bounty? I would love it if Blindspot ended with Kurt taking a bullet for Jane and her telling him "Stay with me, stay with me. You're going to be a dad, I'm pregnant!" And then if there is a 4th season for Jane to go rogue teaming up with Roman even to find the person whom she believes killed Kurt. (He would still be alive but she doesn't know that).
Also in that reunion scene did you guys have the line from Jane "You're still wearing it?" referring to Kurt's wedding ring. I don't think that we had that. Or I need to watch that scene again.
My questions from the previous seasons are still: Who did the tattoos on Jane? (Obviously the 'accident' was deliberate so that they could do the new ink.) Did I miss what her birth name is? I don't believe Shepherd is their mother, so who were their parents? I would still love to know what Shepherd meant when she told Kurt, "if things had been different, we could have been family."??
Hopefully I will have seen the episode before the weekend and let you know what I thought.

B. Watch the episode. They did a good job of getting you thinking about the new season. Most of your questions will be answered. Yes, the non wedding will forever be the demise of Castle. They just never understood the fans feeling on that

B. First question will be answered once the full first episode is watched (season 3) Jane's name was I think revealed in season 2 when she first met Shepherd. Jane is really Alice Kruger (and Roman's real name is Eon/Ian) but when Shepherd rescued them both chose new names for themselves ... which is how we ended up with Remi and Roman. (( currently rewatching season 2 on DVD )) Jane & Roman's parents were killed when they lived in South Africa. (Where Jane was born/raised during Apartheid Regime.)

OMG! Takes me like almost the entire episode to figure out where I've seen a guest star. Heather Burns is in episode 3.
:: chuckles ::
Heather was Cheryl Frasier in Miss Congeniality 1 and 2.
:: head meets desk ::
I knew I recognized her but I couldn't place a name to the face & voice.
