Mild Spoilers for Blindspot season 3 premiere

Where We Left Off: After saving the world again -- this time from a crashing satellite -- the Blindspotters gathered 'round a table for some booze and small talk, and Jane (Jaimie Alexander) and Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) totally did it. YES!!! HASHTAG JELLER!!! But the real humdinger was the final scene, a flash-forward two years into the future showing Jane living with monks in the mountains. Weller arrived after searching for her, heavily hinted they were married thanks to the presence of a wedding ring, and then some magic box unlocked a glowing set of tattoos on Jane that are over her old tattoos! Whaaaaaat!?!?!?

The Scoop: Fortunately, our "Whaaaaat!?!?!?!?" won't remain unanswered for long. "All will be explained in about the first five minutes of of the season premiere," series creator Martin Gero reveals. "But those glowing tattoos are a whole new layer that kick off a whole new adventure!" Also figuring prominently into the new season will be Jane's brother Roman (Luke Mitchell), who may or may not be "the bad guy," depending on your perspective. "He's very angry at Jane," Gero says. Season 3 will also double down on Season 2's lighter tone, which produced some of the show's best episodes. "The show, on a whole, is a LOT funnier and lighter," Gero says, so we can only imagine fan favorite Rich Dot Com (Ennis Esmer) will make his grand return as well.

Hi everyone!

PTVJ - I for one would love any spoilers as I still find it quite a chore to watch this series. However those final minutes of the last series was most definitely a WTH..?? I really hope that we get to see something of those missing years. I am assuming that the separation may have been sparked by Roman and maybe Jane trying to protect Kurt. However as long as Patterson is allowed to be her brilliant self and maybe, just maybe, be allowed a boyfriend who doesn't get killed or betrays her... And my reason for continuing the struggle is in the hope that those tattoos are explained. Like who inked them, how do they predict events yet to happen...

They had a promo sneak peek that my DVR recorded since I have the show programmed to record new episodes. It had many of the main characters talking about this season and a few sneak looks at the new year that has a 2 yr time jump. It looks to me like they are doing a reboot to start a new story line. Jane's tattoos are now glowing so many new clues to come and search for.
