I'm hoping to check this one out soon. I'm a Star Trek fan and this parody looks like it could be funny...plus Penny's in it, so that's worth a look.

Hi everyone!
Yes this does look like fun. Didn't Stana mention it on her Twitter account? Reminds me of Galaxy Quest. LOVE that movie for the late Alan Rickman and seeing Sigourney Weaver doing comedy.

This show actually ended up being a lot better than I expected. Like many, I was expecting a lot of Seth McFarland's frat-boy humor, but it was actually a pretty well-written show. It did have some humorous moments but also a lot of more serious, topical storylines. Penny had scenes in many episodes and one episode that centered entirely around her character. The season 1 finale was last week. It has been renewed for a season 2, but I don't know when that will be. If it's available to stream online somewhere, or when the DVD set comes out, I'd recommend it.

Should have gotten this info out sooner.....The Orville returns tonight (Sunday Dec. 30) after football. TVGuide has it listed at 8 p.m. ET but will depend on when Fox NFL coverage ends tonight.
