Good ol' Youtube! And my bad, it's Season 4 already not 3.
And that opening scene...
Enjoy...
B Hi 1Lincoln40 , finally got to see the beefcake scene at start of Season 4.... . Certainly a fine kettle of fish yet again....but I'm so sick of George Warleggan....and I wish Elizabeth would go away...and that smarmy, icky Vicar....although I just found an article about the actor, Christian Brassington and how much weight he had to gain for the role..... certainly looks fine here....

Fjordmom - I hope you enjoy the season. Christian Brassington is certainly a fine figure of a man outside of that character. Even better without that beard and with a smile... Elizabeth I would say is the only one that can influence George who certainly has insecurity issues about his standing within the community. And very interesting for me was the understanding that developed between her and Ross. A case of family I suppose. Demelza also has to stand on her own two feet as they say. However my interest was Drake & Morwenna. And for me that final episode felt rushed. So much happened.
I hope you will give your opinion once you have watched it. The next season could be the last as I understand there is quite a time jump in the books.

I read something at the weekend which I found interesting. It implied to me that the writers will be expanding on Morwenna and Drake who only get mentioned in one line in the next book. If that is true then I took it to mean that I was not the only one interested in this couple. So we could get to see them be parents and the expansion of Ross' business interests. Also I believe that Ross & Demelza's children will now be teenagers.

BBC in the UK has just started to show the trailer that says "Coming Soon" for the final season Once again I will make an effort to watch but only because Drake & Morwenna should be in it. B

So the 5 season began July 14th, episode 4 this coming Sunday, August 4th. And it appears there will only be 6 episodes... Now I have never been a true fan of this show but so far, this season has my attention. It is more political with the slavery issue. On a personal level, I am loving how they are dealing with Elizabeth. Most of the time with shows, a major event happens and a few episodes later it's like it never happened. No-one talks about it. George however is having a really tough time and Dwight is also have issues because he has guessed what happened. As for Morwenna, just because she is married to the man she loves, she has not been able to overcome what happened to her in her first marriage. So I look forward to seeing how that issue for her will be resolved. However given how short this season will be, it may feel rushed yet again. B
