Sitting in a Tree, Backwards completion date is drawing near! Part III chapter 7 is now up, the final chapter will be posted by July 31st! For any of you who may have missed this, it starts with a midseason 3 marriage proposal, out of the blue, and takes a sharp twist with the slow reveal of Beckett's secrets that, seriously, threaten to shatter everything. Honestly, it's a tough subject matter to get right so it's taken a lot of feedback and time, but provides a fun and unique ride. Chapter 8 is really long, 6000 words! There are plenty of scene changes though. If I give the reader a heads up in the Author's Note, will that be okay?

I will start from the beginning...again  As she says she has finished the story now.  I got tired of re-reading over and over and never getting the ending. I usually don't even read stories that are not finished after getting left hanging so many times. This is an AU story with a pretty big AU twist. |

Yeah, I've undoubtedly lost a lot of readers along the way, as long as it's taken to get this far. I'm happy to be finalizing and publishing it at last. And I'm so glad to be able to post these chapters so quickly! Believe me, after the next chapter, you won't want to wait even 24 hours for the next! Well, Tycho may be okay, but only because she had a preview last year.  |
