I don't know about others. But I had to put my DVD out of sight. I haven't been interested in watching Castle since the season 8 happened. I've been Scarecrow and Mrs. King these days. Maybe in a few years, I will pull out Castle and do a remember when watching. But for now, I fill so betrayed. Even though I found this song and thought instantly of Beckett

Thanks for the warning. I've only seen the beginning of season 8 before it stopped broadcasting because of Christmas and I never watched the show again except for reruns of much earlier seasons/episodes.

I would be embarrassed to tell anyone how many times I have seen the episodes up til S6E23. Those were the very best of Castle for this fan. I cherish my DVD's from those years. I did not buy one for S7 or S8 nor will I. I choose to just remember the very best of what was a beautiful show.

I recently erased the last four of my favorite episodes. Simply couldn't watch them with out hurting all over again.
Someday when my heart stops hurting, I may be able to discuss Castle again with the faithful fans I have come to know and love.
Right now the overwhelming disappointment is still like an open wound. I can't even watch episodes that were much loved.
I've actually had divorces that didn't hurt as much. I know this sounds melodramatic but it is what it is.
Meanwhile I'm enjoying lurking on here from time to time. Posting when I can.

When you've had a near death experience with brain damage, you may end up like me. I'm not interested in TV shows or movies and I'm no longer missing Castle. Just happy to be alive. I do watch "Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern" and "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives." I mostly read books and play a game app, "Panda "Pop," recommended by rehab. I'm guessing hand/eye coordination.

I miss it deeply too, Arky. It's hard for me to watch fan-vids, it's hard for me to want to be interested in anything else Nathan or Stana are into. Just not feelin' it. I haven't even pulled out my DVD's to watch anything since the Christmas hiatus of season 8. Just no.
Do the powers that be, I wonder, really understand the impact of their mistakes in leading this show and in the writing of 6 x 23 and beyond? Do they realize how they JUST KILLED IT? Seriously.
I too, lament the good days of the show and the fun we had here. A time and a place, everything has its season, etc. etc. etc.... I still miss the way we, and they, were.
