Former Castle guest star Jackie Tohn w/ a Nathan story...

Actress is currently starring in the show GLOW on Netflix. TVLine did an interview and she spoke about her many, many guest starring roles on other shows. Jackie played "Cyber Rita" in the Castle episode "Bad Santa" and this is what she had to say about the experience.

CASTLE

Tohn describes her turn as the “Snooki meets Genius Bar” hacker Rita as incredible, boasting that “Nathan Fillion is one of the kindest co-stars a person can have.”

Tohn and Fillion bonded over a shared frustration after coming across an atrocious parking job on their way to set. “I go, ‘Look at this a–hole,’ and he goes, ‘Oh my god. People parking like this makes me angry.’ And he runs to his car and comes back with a small stack of magnets — that he had made(!) — that say ‘I’m sure you’re a perfectly lovely person… but you park like an a–hole’. He gave me, like, 10 of these magnets.” Tohn hasn’t “had the balls to use one yet” she says, but they’re still in her car, just waiting for the right moment.

I know! I couldn't stop laughing when I read he actually had those made and kept them in his car. I want to know how many he's actually put on cars.

Nathan has given these out at his NerdHQ panels for years. You can hear his polite Canadian coming thru as he tells the person off. Too fun8-)

It seems like the only people who speak or write negative or hurtful things about Nathan are people who have never actually met him in person.

That may be true shutterbug however I read an article regarding the problems behind the scenes on Castle. It stated that he was often a bully to her on set, had her in tears and that she would often cry in her dressing room and that he was not as well liked by some because of his treatment to Stana. Who knows if this is true but it does lead one to wonder why everything was so great and it turned so sour. If my timeline is correct, it seemed to when she got married.

Yeah, I've read those accounts too. I've also read some that said some mean things about Stana. The one thing that strikes me about all of those stories is that no one is ever willing to put their name to them. They are always attributed to "inside sources" or something equally as vague.

I think we can all agree that things went awry on Castle, especially during that final season, but I don't think we'll ever really know the truth, and until someone is willing to come forward and take credit for sharing actual details, I'm willing to give everyone involved the benefit of the doubt and simply enjoy the wonderful seasons of Castle we were given.
