Castle Season 6 Episode 12 - “Deep Cover”

This episode was on the other night and it reminded me of how much I loved this show. This is the episode where Jackson Hunt pops back into Castle’s life during a murder investigation. Hunt gets shot and comes face to face with both Martha and Beckett.

It has some solid Caskett moments where they talk about their wedding and then Castle realizes that Beckett is more his family than his own father.

It also has some wonderful scenes between Castle and Martha.

Martha: You know for years I wondered if your father was the one who got away. Well now I finally know.
Castle: He was never worth your time.
Martha: Oh yes he was. First time I met him he gave me the greatest gift of my life. You. And now after all these years he’s given me another one. Closure. So, what about you, Kiddo? How are you?
Castle: I don’t know.
Martha: Think we’ll ever see him again?
Castle: I wish I knew.

I’m so happy I took the hour break to rewatch.

I also watched this when it was on the other night. I looked to see which episode and season before I watched it. It was nice to see our Caskett couple in all their glory again.
