This was a fun take off from the TV show that Rob Bowman was involved in called "X Files". This is a scene where Nathan was able to get his line changed to give a nod to Firefly. He said in a recent con that when the line originally was written he was to say he had a semester abroad to pick up the Chinese. Instead he got them to change it to "There was a TV show I use to watch". He said when the vocal coach worked with him on the mandarin she told him he had an mandarin accent.

I especially loved this episode for the waking up scene in the car, when Kate was leaning on Castle and the scene back at the precinct when the guys noticed the hickies! Oh, how we were longing for them to get together!
