I just found this interview that was done when Castle was on. It sure sounds like one of the first few years. It was nice to hear Nathan talking nice about his Castle character.

Interesting that he chose to comment on Ryan and Esposito and their character growth instead of Castle's. I'd like to know if he liked the direction they took Rick Castle as the series went on.
