This was our first two part episode. They were originally suppose to air these on Sunday and Monday but then they changed it to a week apart. I remembered that great tub Kate had when she was reading Castle's book. I thought that was how they would get her thru this big explosion. Sure enough she jumped into the tub to save her life. The look on Castle's face was such horror. Nathan did a great job with this scene. The fans were going crazy for a week worried that Kate died in the explosion. www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=059ca62ca614

I loved the scene in the 2nd part where Rick insisted that Kate stay at the Loft with his family. He cared a lot about her, even then. So many good early episodes.

Loved the terror on his face as he watched her apartment go up in flames. The way the fire reflected off his face was so scary.
Thanks for the puzzle, Tycho!

That was such a great scene. The second he realized the killer wasn't dead, his thoughts turned to Kate and he was off .... his desperation and despair as the bomb went off sent Castle into a frenzy...and us, as we wondered how she survived the blast.... Great scene that carried over right into the following week....

I distinctly remember Castle running with the phone to his ear muttering, "Pick up the phone. Pick up the phone!" It was such an intense scene. Great episode.

I agree, Fossie. The terror was so real in Nathan's voice that it sent chills up and down my spine.
