So did anyone else notice the very meta elements of the Poe's Pen award? Here's what I picked up on: 1.) The font on Castle's image is the same as the Castle logo. 2.) The "N" in Pen has a pen with red ink going through it, again, a la, the Castle logo. 3.) The actual award is a pen with a bottle of red ink next to it. Gotta love these brilliant, silly, creative minds!   |

I've been hoping to sit down and rewatch the episode again but just haven't had the time. But thanks for pointing all of that out angie1379. I knew the font looked familiar and I was trying to figure out what that award was but hadn't been able to go back and look. Very cool. Plus winning the "Poe's Pen Award" would be extremely cool for someone who legally changed their middle name to Edgar. |

This is the picture I used for my puzzle for the episode. The at department must have had fun giving nods to the many Castle things over the years. Andrew received a nice award this year from his alma mater. I wonder if that put the idea of Castle getting a writers award? Thanks Angie for the post.  Sent from my SCH-I605 using proboards |
