Thanks for posting this. I saw it but couldn't post it. so nice to see how much Castle ment to her. I loved the mention of Andrew for creating her character.

This post was mentioned in AXN Portugal's facebook! This channel has always been very supportive of Castle (for instance, they paid a very beautiful homage to the show when it ended and they still show Castle daily!) and the people who run their facebook seem to love Stana, too (I've seen posts about her before, about how talented and beautiful she is and recently about Absentia). This time they posted Stana's post and wrote: "Yesterday was the anniversary of Kate Beckett, the character Stana Katic played for 8 years and with whom we all fell in love with. The actress made a very beautiful dedication in her Instagram account, thanking Kate Beckett for all she has given her during the 8 seasons of Castle. Stana knows how the game is played. She is keeping the memory of Beckett alive and thanking everyone who makes that memory possible.
Does anyone not think that there could be a reunion show in the works? I'm just saying. It's obvious the show meant a lot to her. And it appears that others agreed.....and I am going out on a limb to say that ABC has been more than just a little embarrassed by this whole fiasco. Look at us, we still have this great place to come and play. The Castle memory is still out there. And reinforcing it never hurts to keep the spirit of the show alive. After all, it's time for the big pay day through syndication.
I really feel that someday soon, we may get the 2 hour movie you all have been wanting. I think, in the future, you may see a Castle re-boot with a totally different cast....kinda like McGyver or Hawaii Five 0......
The premise of the show is solid and it is one that could last forever. Stana was right to honor Beckett. Like I said, she loved Beckett and invested a lot in the character. I just found it interesting that she would mention Beckett's birthday now that the show is gone.
My spidey sense begins to tingle a bit. Just sayin.......

I don't think Stana will ever forget Kate Beckett she played it to perfection, she is one great actress and a very nice person.
