This episode was written by Elizabeth Beall. I loved that we had 3 couples over the years writing for Castle. They were all gone by the last season and it showed. ( I'm talking about both of them being on the team)
This was a very good mystery that kept most of us guessing for quite a while. I loved the episodes that had many twists and turns to the plot. 
This is a scene that showed us again what a great single Dad Castle was for Alexis. This was for her.

Great choice for a puzzle picture, Tycho! I had no idea what I was creating!

Another thing I distinctly remember from the episode was the music they used at the end, when Alexis was returning the photos to the daughter. It was so appropriate and moving. I loved seeing Beckett and Alexis interact in this one too.

The one thing I remember thinking the first time I saw this scene is how much I hate sprouts!

This was back when the Beckett/Alexis relationship seemed to have so much potential. I don't mean to be a pessimist, but it's one of the many ways the writers dropped the ball as the series went on.
