This morning, while driving on Route 7 in New Milford, I was at first behind and then passed a vehicle that screamed to me how wrong it was. I mean, I realize that things are not going so good in the world, politics is enough to make you start on the hard stuff at 8am, and through the day our phone records calls coming from all corners of this great nation, not only from cities and towns in my own state of CT, but others, such as Oregon, Illinois, California, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and although not a state, the District of Columbia. The one call that worries me the most, however, is from Las Vegas. They claim that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas and yet my phone records several calls a week from Las Vegas. Its enough to make one take up knitting.
HOWEVER, the most horrible, WRONG thing that I saw today was....an SUV. No, not any SUV, but a Maserati SUV. That's right, a Maserati! Hello!!! Maserati was always known as a sports car, and not just any sports car, but a SEXY sports car. And now they made an SUV. As my lovely bride can attest, this did not go over well with me and I proceeded to inform her all that was wrong, not not just wrong but WRONG, with a Maserati SUV. If I wasn't on my way to the dentist I definitely would have stopped at the nearest liquor store and bought it out of whatever had the highest alcohol content in the store.
My boyhood dream of owning a sexy Italian sports car has crashed head long into the wall of suburban soccer moms.
To make matters worse, all we have in the house is white Zinfandel. 
I think I'll just go to bed.
