Kat welcome back! What are your thoughts on what happened between Ross & Elizabeth?
Also I thought that someone might have linked you, or that you were already aware of the fact that S3 is a done deal. Enjoy!
I think I have been watching the characters that I am most looking forward to seeing namely Drake & Morwenna.
B.  Hey! I am SO SORRY I am JUST NOW seeing this! THANK YOU for the trailer! I may have jumped for joy at home when I realized there would be a Season 3, especially because they had already started filming when I found out! Can't WAIT! Unfortunately, in the US, I will have to wait until October. This series just captured my heart! Characters I love to love, love to hate, ones that intrigue me, and others that have great promise. I think Caroline is quite lovely. Looking forward to all the surprises in store! Thank you for the shout-out! |

For anyone still following this series, for some reason the UK has already started showing the 3rd season, commenced Sunday, June 11th. I have yet to watch the 1st episode as it clashed with another new series. Anyone know if the US will bring this forward or do you think it will remain for the fall or next year?
B. Yes, I had heard October! I'm quite aware that season 3 has already started in the UK. *chomping at the bit* .... lol... OH, and to answer your question about what happened between Ross & Elizabeth..... ..................................... Sigh............................................................ I had a feeling that what happened was that of unrequited love. I had a feeling it would happen, just not sure when. And even though I can empathize, honestly, I'm heart-sick for Demelza. I adore her. Whatever Ross has coming to him from her is justified. And I am certain it is going to be an ugly, on-going nightmare, for all involved, because of the epic slime-balls of those who's last names, of the male persuasion, are Warleggan! Ugh, love to hate them! LoL! I must say my opinion of Elizabeth has never been very high. Something about her doesn't sit right with me. Perhaps it's because of my admiration for Demelza. Hard to say. Anyway, the saga will continue! Bring it, I say! And Ross, buck up, camper. You're going to have mud-slinging coming from every direction, I dare say. OH, and lastly..... I can't decide which scenery is more appealing, really. Turner, Cornwall... Turner, Cornwall..... Hmmm.......................  |

Happy that you have discovered the bits I posted. Also just checked out imdb to discover that season 4 is already listed?!
Whilst I believe that the main love story for most is the Demelza/Ross/Elizabeth triangle, for me it's the story of Drake & Morwena that I will be following. It's for that story that I am actually making the effort to watch the series and the reason that I headed over to imdb was to find out which actor will be playing a certain character involved in the D&M story but they are not listed which intrigues me. Are they then leaving that until next season?
With regards Ross & Elizabeth despite what Ross has said, their relationship still seems to have some tension. It will be interesting to see whether that plays out even more.

WOOT!!!! Very gratified to read this thread....just watched the first two episodes...HATE waiting for weekly episodes  but it's better than nothing. Still rooting for Demelza...do not trust nor really like Elizabeth...and Ross better get a grip on things....or he will lose Demelza and I hope for all the best for her be it Ross or someone other wise man who understands and cherishes what he is getting in Demelza. 1Lincoln40 , the story of Morwena and Drake will be interesting to watch...sort of reversal of male/female roles i.e. Demelza/Ross? I'm sure it will be fraught with angst....but delicious to watch. Now I just have to wait for Dr. Blake Mysteries, Doc Martin, Longmire....and ABSENTIA!!!!!!! ... GEESH....I hate waiting! |

We are still in the first season. I was sad to see that when the sister finally went with her heart ,instead of her stupid brother's demands, and married her love all Hell broke lose. It looks like everybody is going to be terribly sad and mad at everyone from this point on. You would think Ross would understand what she did and side with his wife. I guess family blood is thicker than his new family. His cousin is such a fool who has ruined so many lives. Ross proved that his cousin probably lost his mine to the cheating card player but he never even acknowledged that that happened. Ahh the plot thickens...

Fjordmom, Tycho - I hope you continue to enjoy the series. I didn't bother with the first 2 seasons because the main love story was the Demelza/Ross/Elizabeth one as well as two other characters and sadly Francis and Verity kinda got lost.
The character I was waiting to see showed up in a trailer for next week and from first glance he appears to have the sweaty hands, gross slobbering that I should despise - can't wait to see how the characters will react.

Ok, so I apologise if this spoils things for viewers not yet on season 3 but I didn't know where else to have a kinda rant.
The character I was waiting to see was - gross! Thought he was "god's gift" but almost cheered George for putting him in this place. I am soo not looking forward to what happens with his character as if this actor is anywhere near as good as the original whom I just barely remember, then - eww! And someone smack him asap!
The rant is at Demelza. I know most fans favor her over Elizabeth but this week I had a "are you serious??" moment. Took me back to Dallas when Pam warned Cliff to stay away from Sue Ellen despite knowing what J.R. was like (that's when my interest in Dallas became non-existent) Anyhow, Demelza telling the woman her brother is in love to stay away from him because he is so far beneath her?! Say what? That was almost a curse moment at the tv for me. Happily at the moment, Morwenna totally ignored her

I don't know what you are talking about but I'm glad you are able to vent.  We are still in season one and I get these characters mixed up as it is hard to understand the strange names when they say them. This was a different time with the classes so divided by station. B. JUST IN CASE...WARNING!!! SEASON 3 SPOILERS -- So what character/show did this actor previously play? Gross just barely touches the surface in this instance... And yes, the stance Demelza is taking with her brother seems a bit (!!!  !!!) misplaced in light of her history....I'm sure there will be plenty of future angst but it is delightful to see two young people in love, isn't it? |

I watched season 1 and some of the beginning episodes in season 2. I find it too negative so I stopped watching. I rather watch Castle reruns. YMMV.
