Stana Katic in new series "Absentia"

Matt's Inside Line at TVLine talked a bit about the future of Absentia...

According to Carter Matt, there is a deal in the works for Absentia here in the US, but there's no official announcement just yet. Not sure where he's getting his information, but I hope he's right.

From what I have read it looks like this show has a few suitors. It would be nice if they get to be in the drivers seat with what ever broadcast company gives them the nod. I think they are smart enough to realize that it needs to air in the US at the same time as other locations or it will be pirated and seen and they will lose revenue.

Here in Portugal, we are already seeing some teasers in AXN (same channel that broadcasted Castle). They say it's starting after the summer (not sure when that is). Do you know if it's starting before somewhere else?

I just saw that it will air in Spain on Sept 25 so I would think that might be the same for you?

You're right, Tycho. AXN Portugal just posted that the premiere here (and world premiere) is on Sept 25. I hope you'll have it there, too. But if not, you'll certainly have other ways to watch it :-)
