So is this Network is owned by Sony? Does anyone know? It looks strictly international. And please forgive me, but will the actors be speaking English? will they be dubbed over in the various countries? It sounds like fun. I remember in San Juan a couple of years ago, my wife and I were watching Heart to Heart in Spanish.
This sounds perfect for Stana. Although I would like to see her get away from the law enforcement roles and showcase her amazing acting abilities. Sounds like this show will help bridge the gap a little. But it also sounds a little dark, so we will see. I loved her in the Librarian Movie where she played a Modern Day Vampire who kept her blood in the fridge. If I recall she got to sing in that movie and she was great. There is so much more to Stana that many people don't realize. Doesn't she flamingo dance as well? I am waiting for her first big movie role. I am guessing not a starring role, but a supporting actress one where she steals the show.
But I digress....Still wanted to see her in a remake of the Thin Man with Nathan.

Thin Man with Nathan Wow that would be Super..... In some respects Castle and Becket were the modern Thin Man couple...with that chemistry, they could set the world on fire. So hard to move on....

I will have to go back and watch this episode. I hope he wasn't the guy who went for the gun and was a jerk.... Sent from my SM-N910V using proboards

I just watched "Number One Fan" again and Raymond Vance was the murderer. He was the son-in-law lawyer of Emma's birth father. He did have a few scenes with Stana. Hopefully he will not play the smug guy that he did in this episode.

I've obviously not read enough sites because to me it seems like a lot of excitement for seeing Stana back on tv. Also interesting the comments that are "oh great, she's playing another cop!" To me if the showrunners stay with the characters then it will be about the effect that Stana's return will have and not the fact that she is an FBI agent. The hopeless romantic in me hopes that for a change we will have a law enforcement officer who had a happy marriage rather than the usual marriage in crisis before she disappeared. So the effect on her husband will be very interesting. My questions already are: who finds her, how do they find her, where do they find her? If not where she was being held, how did she escape? Who tells her husband? How does his wife react to finally seeing 'the ghost'? How heartbreaking will Stana make the reunion with her son who now sees another woman as his mother. Is her lack of memory drug induced or her mind shutting down to protect itself from what happened during those missing years. When she goes on the run, will it be the Fugitive or more Quantico? Although I didn't watch the latter, wasn't that about an agent framed for a terrorist attack?
I'm still excited and hope I get the chance to watch this series. Just waiting to see who makes up the rest of the cast.

On one hand, it's very good to see Stana back, and I wish her all the success, but on the other hand it is also weird for me to see her with a new male partner........Let's see how it goes....

Yes, AXN network is owned by SONY. And it's a really huge network, many Europea countries, Asia, South America. I have AXN channels and I watch them really often (they air syndicated "Castle" ), and I can hardly wait to watch "Absentia" As for the language, it depends, but with digital decoders you have a choice - original language + subitles in local language or dubbing in local language in some countries or voice-over in local language and in this case you still can hear the original language in the background.

I also watch a lot of AXN here in Portugal, and Castle is still shown almost everyday. Regarding the language, I think it's different from country to country. In Portugal, we only have subtitles, no dubbing (thank God :-))! Except in shows for children. But for instance in Spain I think it's almost always dubbed. Can anyone confirm? Well, in places where shows are dubbed, it will certainly be strange to suddently have Stana with a different voice! :-)

And agree, it's totally strange to see Stana and hear another language. I watched a few episodes of "Castle" on German SAT1 TV channel via ASTRA satellite (they're FTA) and it was really weird to see Beckett and hear German language...

"Sony Pictures Television will manage distribution rights in the U.S., as well as most markets in Europe and Asia."
That sounds a little more promising....hopefully that means we'll get it in the U.S.
