Tonight we have...
On CBS, the premiere of MacGyver, and the returns of Hawaii Five-0 and Blue Bloods.
Over at FOX there's the premiere of The Exorcist.
Nothing new on NBC except for Dateline.
And ABC has the returns of Last Man Standing, Dr. Ken, and Shark Tank.
-I'll be reviewing Blue Bloods for TV Fanatic.
-I believe on the Castle writers is now at Hawaii Five-0 but for the life of me I can't remember which one.
-I'm torn over MacGyver. I was a huge fan of the show as a kid but the previews for this new version just don't grab me.
-I'll never watch The Exorcist. I hate horror.
-My daughter will be thrilled that Shark Tank is back.

I Love Hawaii Five-0....one of my favorite shows... we normally tape Grimm and Five-0 and run em back to back when I am in town...it's weird not having Castle on, but there are some good shows and if Five-0 has a Castle Writer, maybe we can revisit McGarret and Catherine... she is a lot like Beckett, except she lives in the rabbit hole.
Love the push and pull between McGarett and Danny and I hope it becomes clear if Danny is in a "quote" serious relationship.

Ron Hanning is the Castle writer doing Hawaii 5-O
I think I remember a tweet that they write in LA and fly over for their episode. He was recently in Hawaii so I think he is doing one of the first few episodes?
I checked his Twitter and his episode is scheduled for Noc 11

Will be watching MacGyver, just to see. Love the old show. Hoping great things for the reboot, especially that "Dad" comes back for a visit.

Well, I wasn't that impressed. Not sure I'll keep watching. In the original show, I got the sense that MacGyver really loved his country, wanted to do the right thing, really cared about the people he helped. Didn't get that vibe in the first episode. Granted, I've only watched one, but it didn't have the same charm for me as the old one. Good thing I can watch the original on Netflix.  |

We liked McGyver. Love Hawaii Five-0. Hope Catherine comes back. Steve obviously still cares about her and we always felt they had GREAT chemistry. Fans of Dr. Ken.

[/quote] Honestly, all I really remember about the original MacGyver was Richard Dean Andersen in a towel. It was the talk of my high school Geometry class the next day.  |

Longmire's back too. Another great show IOO. I watch the Glades also on Netflix....he still ends up on the floor and we never know if he lives or died....rats... this is why I am not an A&E fan... no class I wonder where Castle ends up... Hulu and ABC have taken it off...I know you can buy it from ITunes ... but sooner or later it will pop up... The least ABC could have done would have been to keep it on their ABC app.....talk about cutting ties... geez...thank god for TNT |
