Some members of the Castle fanfiction community have decided to continue the story with their own virtual version of Castle season 9. From what I've read, they plan to write each installment as a TV episode and the premiere will be posted on Sept. 26th at 10pm ET/ 9pm CT at this link... www.fanfiction.net/u/7853216/I believe the storyline will be starting out right after the shooting that occurred in the series finale, and not with the time jump. As I've read stories from many of the authors involved and know them to be talented writers, I'm curious to find out what they have in store for us. I'm curious to hear what everyone think and if you'll be checking it out too. |

I just started one of these stories that is over 124 chapters and still going. We have many talented Castle fanfic writers out there. I don't recognize many of the names listed but this should be worth following to see what they do.

Thank you and what a great idea! If we can't have them on TV let's have them through a great fanfiction. I think now we will have better "showrunners" :-).
When I start feeling sad that Castle is not returning I just remember what we would see happening and I feel better again!
