Two questions: didn't the time traveler say that Kate was going to be a senator? And, instead of gods/ goddesses for posters who post a lot, I think we should call them senators. How's that sound?  |

Yes, the time traveler did say that Kate would be a senator....have to go back and check that, not sure if he specified state senator or U.S. senator.

I think Kate tipped her hand as well when she told Rick on the swings that it could lead to other things as well, so she could start by being a State Senator and then run for Senator. My question is, does she go to law school? If she can jump two ranks straight to Captain, does she need law school? The only reason I mention this is that to be just like her mother, she would need to go and finish law school then move on. This we know, people perceive her to be so much more than just a detective. Twice now we have heard how her persona screams to be great. So this is no coincident. It is what Marlowe saw in her character. She is destined for great things. |

I am just wondering just how much of Kate Beckett do we see in the fall? Just asking. As I mentioned in the epilog, at the end, instead of "Caastle and Beckett will be returning in the fall to solve murders"...we get ..."Castle will return in the fall to solve murders"....so where do we go from here? It is going to be an interesting summer. There is a contract ( and contracts) waiting to be signed. There are at least 11 episodes waiting to be shot. New show runners, new directions to go, etc. So we need to sort through it all and see what rises from the ashes. It has been an interesting season. And yes, I can still smell 6x23.

Kate doesn't have to go to law school to be a Senator, lots of politicians are lawyers but not all.
As for "Castle will return in the fall...:, I believe that's referring to the show's title.
