I've never watched the show but I'll definitely check out her episode.
I know it's a comedy, but I can't look at the lead actor, Jay R. Ferguson, and not see Dick Coonan!

So, if she's taping now, would you guess her episode will air before Christmas? I think that script says it's episode 2x05. The show returns on Oct. 11th so I'd guess that ep will air sometime in November. |

Can you just see what Castle fans would have done if they saw the front cover of an episode like this? You can see so much about the episode here the writer, director, episode number etc. Yeah we had OCD for sure.   Sent from my SM-N910V using proboards |

I saw a picture and it looks like Susan gets to wear her real hair in this show. I know she hated wearing the red wig in Castle.

As I feared, her show was on the same time as This Is Us and I didn't want to miss that. All I managed to do was catch a brief glimpse of Susan during a commercial break and I hardly recognized her with her real hair. She looks younger - at least from a distance. I didn't get any sense of the role she was playing.
I just adored the Martha that she brought to life and really would like to keep her that way in my memory.

I watched the episode, and although I thought the show was so-so, I really enjoyed Susan as the snarky, jaded mother with a secret. A different vibe from Martha (not nearly as nice) but she seemed to revel in the role. If she were on it continually, I'd watch the show more often.

Susan was on again this past Tuesday (March 7) as Clive's mother. She was totally coming on to Pat O'Neal (the dad of the family). It was a hoot!
