Hi everyone!
It's been a while since I posted so I hope this doesn't break any rules but I was just wondering whether anyone has seen this post and what you think of it. For me it seemed to put some rumors into some kind of context and doesn't show Stana in a very good light.

I take every post that is written about someone else’s experience with a liberal grain of salt. If this were written by the actual “lighting guy” and he was willing to put his name to it, perhaps I’d give it more credit.
No doubt Nathan and Stana have very different personalities. He certainly seems more outgoing where she seems more reserved, but there’s nothing wrong with that.
A few things that stood out to me…
Stana was never a regular on a TV series but she played small roles on several shows (ER, 24, Heroes) as well as the TV movie The Librarians III so the tone of different sets wouldn’t have been completely new to her.
It says Stana sat by herself during table reads. To my knowledge they didn’t do table reads on Castle.
There are videos of Stana joking around with both Jon Huertas and Seamus Dever behind the scenes. They certainly appear to get along just fine.
According to what I've read of Nathan’s side of the contract negotiations, he was working from early Monday mornings until sometimes well into Saturday. He’d basically catch up on sleep on Sunday and then it would start all over again. Even if it’s for a job you love and the money is great, that gets old fast. That’s why he wanted the schedule change.
I’ll believe he put how many days/hours he’d work with Stana in his contract when I actually see a verified contract. I can't imagine that a lighting guy on the set would have any clue what's written in a star's contract.
In my opinion, to say Stana Katic “wasn’t really invested in the character or the show” is an insult to the incredible work she put in over several seasons.
That these two actors weren’t the best of friends isn’t a crime and they wouldn’t be the first two stars to have a falling out. Main actors in a long running series spend more time together than most married couples and 50% of marriages end in divorce.
No matter what happened, I’m a fan of them both and wish them both the best.

I was invested in this show from the beginning, I have no idea what went on backstage all I can say is I saw the end result and it was fantastic, I do believe that Stana was invested in the show she tweeted and there are pictures of her with some of the behind scene castmate and everything to me at least look like they were good friends what really went on I do not think we will ever know like I said they put a great show on together every week, personally I do not believe what was said, but that is just my opinion.

I had never believed reports about Nathan bullying her and had heard stories about her being difficult to work with from people who had gone on set visits. Whatever the reason they didn't get along, it unfortunately impacted the quality of the show. I felt this show could have gone on much longer if only the whole cast was really one big happy family like some other shows seem to be.

He said-She said. Don't know-Don't care. All I can say for sure is that SOMEBODY screwed up what was the best show on TV for 6+ seasons. To me, it was just very sad to see it go downhill the way it did after S6E23 and to end in ruins. That was an awful ending for such a beautiful show.

Though there isn't even "he said she said" since Stana hasn't accused Nathan of anything and Nathan isn't talking. The studio and showrunners had a good thing going with Castle and they wrecked it.

Sorry for not posting a reply sooner.
Thanks everyone for your opinions, much appreciated. I think what stood out the most for me was Stana not invested in the show. Really? Because if that was the case then she really should have won an Emmy for her performance if that was what she was capable of producing when not interested what might she show if she was giving it her all. I have now read another posting which doesn't put Nathan in a very good light. It starts by saying that Milmar had written an elaborate and expensive wedding but Nathan didn't want it and it goes from there.
Whatever the truth for me, it starts and stops with ABC. As long as Castle was making money the execs didn't seem to be interested in promoting the show or if there were any bts issues, making sure that it didn't impact the product. And the writers in the last few seasons seemed incapable of consistently writing a happy couple in love and showing us how they felt not just telling us.
I can also imagine when the fall season starts and it's Monday, the anger will return because of what should have been....
